Education is very important to us. Our leadership and staff are GIA alumni. Jewelry has a rich history that continues to unfold every day. The value in geeking out about the latest trends in treatments and manufacturing comes when it helps us help you. This is what makes our sales team so steller.
Keith Field, G.G., Owner/Designer
Early in his career as a bench jeweler, Keith saw meaningful life experiences linked to jewelry that could not live up to the expectations placed on them. Keith set out to learn how to create beautiful jewelry that lifts the human spirit throughout it's lifetime - when purchased, given, and seen in the mirror. Today, Keith designs and creates our Signature Shore and Sea and Handmade Earring Collections as well as our ever changing selection of one of a kind designs. When he has a free moment, one might find Keith rowing his boat the “Water Bug” in Casco Bay, investing his time to help individuals in our community or celebrating the little things in life with his young grandchildren.
Andrew Brunner, Sales Manager
Even from his youth, Andrew has loved helping people. This passion first lead him to youth camp counseling and mentorship opportunities in orchestral performance. During a chance summer internship in Topsham, Andrew and his wife, Sarah, fell in love with the opportunities and culture of Midcoast Maine. Andrew leads our sales team in helping people express themselves and build meaningful relationships through fine jewelry. Evenings and weekends will find Andrew involved in local activities and events as well as playing the french horn in Harpswell Concert Band.
Hannah Simmler, G.G., Appraiser
Hannah's love of experiencing the stories behind jewelry began in high school when she started working part time in the family trade. After college and some world travel, Hannah moved back to Brunswick to start a family and joined the team as our insurance and estate fine jewelry appraiser. Today, Hannah is honored to be a part of your story and play an important role in the maintenance of tangible representations of identity, relationships and achievement. On sunny Saturdays, one will often find Hannah exploring Maine's running trails as well as enjoying old and discovering new treasures in Midcoast Maine with her three children.
Josh Whitney, Office Manager
Josh loves that fact that even if you have 40 years experience in the jewelry industry, you can learn something new every day and feel the magic, awe and connection that fine jewelry and gemstones bring. Josh, a Bath native, knows first hand that midcoast Maine is a hidden "jewel". He takes advantage of the fact that one can explore both shore and mountains all within a day's drive. At Keith Field Goldsmith Josh helps our team to work as efficiently as possible to serve you. When he is not at our office, you might find Josh and his wife, Sarah, volunteering in our community or playing with their fur baby Luna in local parks.
Maggie Field, Sales
Maggie is Keith Field's niece and is a joy to have as part of our team. Perhaps it is the fact that her great great grandfather started the Field Jewelry tradition on Maine Street in Brunswick that influences her love of the sentimental nature of jewelry. This year, Maggie is starting her junior year in high school and works part time after school to help us keep the showroom neat, tidy and organized as well as serve you with repair consultation and watch battery replacement.
Caleb Wright, Sales
Caleb Wright is currently a freshmen college student in Florida. Even though he is away, he still helps his fellow students learn about diamonds and engagement rings as they contemplate their future lives. He has a thing for our fine Benchmade knives and Seiko Automatic watches. We are looking forward to his return on break to help us match you with the perfect gift for Christmas.
